About Polina

Polina Kroik

I’m a photographer, visual artist and writer based in NYC. Working in the media of digital photography, printmaking, and painting, I’m inspired by NYC’s diversity and vitality. Whether on the street with a camera or in the studio, I look to capture the ways in which everyday occurrences overlap with fantasy and emotion. My photographs and prints have been exhibited at Baxter Street Gallery, Loy Luo Art Space, Culture Lab LIC, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Art Students League. My writing was published in Lilith Magazine, The Slag Glass City and the New York Daily News.
