I have been teaching college courses in writing, film, literature, and language for many years. I currently teach Israeli Cinema and Expository Writing at Hunter College, and Introductory and Advanced Hebrew at Baruch College, The City University of New York. In the past, I’ve taught writing and a course on “Literature of Travel and Migration” at Fordham University.
I hold a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine, and an MA in English from Syracuse University.
My scholarly publications include a book on American women writers and screenwriters, Cultural Production and the Politics of Women’s Work, and articles on contemporary American film, and gender politics.
